Wednesday, June 5, 2019 I lost my baby Smarties. She’s the one on the right. She was super old (definitely at least 15, mama says at least 17) and she lived a good long life. I completely broke down when I saw her. I knew it was coming but I didn’t know when, so I wasn’t prepared to let her go. I didn’t get to say goodbye but she knows how much I’ve always loved her. She was my baby for years, and she was withering away to nothing and it broke my heart to see her like that. I lost it when I saw her dead and I’m still crying every time I even start to think of her. Smarties I miss you dearly and I know you’re up in kitty heaven with Jojo, Sammy, Mimi, Tasha, Boo, and Sage. There’s infinite food and toys and catnip and you’re happier than you were when you left us. I’m glad you’re not suffering anymore but I’m still heartbroken that I lost you and didn’t get to say goodbye. I love you baby, I always will. 3 whole years. It feels like it’s only been a few months.
